La Tâche 1 (Évaluation de la situation existante au Maroc et dans l'UE en matière de production, de traitement, de stockage et de réutilisation des boues et autres déchets organiques biodégradable) comprenant les activités ci-dessous est complètement achevée.
Activités accomplies :

1. Evaluation de la situation existante et future au Maroc concernant la production, le traitement, le stockage et la réutilisation des boues et autres DOB. Analyse des schémas de gestion, des systèmes et des usages des boues et autres DOB aussi bien que l’évaluation de la législation marocaine les concernant.
2. Examen et analyse de la législation européenne concernant les boues et autres DOB
3. Evaluation de la situation existante dans l’UE concernant la production et la gestion des boues et autres DOB (traitement, réutilisation et stockage)
4. Examen des procédés de compostage des boues et autres DOB dans l'Union Européenne et recherche des meilleures expériences réussies
   

Actuellement, la conception et la construction du système de compostage (bio-réacteur) est en cours sur le site de l’Université Nationale Technique d’Athènes (Grèce)
