JORDAN
-Publication of a short article about the training workshop in the Jordanian Local News papers, in Arabic.
-Publication of short report about the Field Training trip to Government personnel, farmers, growers, graduate students, and faculty members held on site of re-use of reclaimed water in the field of field crops and under controlled cultivation of ornamental plants, at the Ramtha station Date 8th March 2006.

-Poster Publication in the second International Conference of the Joined MEDAWARE and Zero-M projects in Marrakech, Morocco.

LEBANON

An article on the MEDAWARE project published online on the electronic version of the Main Gate Magazine with a circulation of about 30, 000 AUB alumni around the world. The printout version is expected in summer 2007.

PALESTINE

Live one-hour environmental awareness TV program, Palestinian Satellite Channel, 23rd June 2004. Mr. Said Jalala (Director General of Environmental Quality Authority - EQA), Mr. Taysir Abu Hujair (Director General of Projects Division) and a MEDAWARE Project member Ms. Zainab Zomlot (Wastewater Specialist), have participated in this program. The program focused on the efficient management of wastewater in Palestine. The water shortage problem and wastewater treatment and reuse were discussed in detail. The MEDAWARE project was also presented. The role of women was also discussed, as they are mostly interested in a healthy environment.

The final results of the MEDAWARE project are to be presented on a TV program, the date of which has not yet been decided.

-During a meeting in Ustron (Poland) held on June 11-13 Ruben Irusta and Dolores Hidalgo made the presentation of the MEDAWARE project and the organizers of the ENVITECH-net offered to include a link to the Medaware software tool in the web of the net: http://www.envitech-net.org/
