CYPRUS
In Cyprus, instead of organizing a Workshop or a Seminar to present the software tool, the Interested Parties were contacted through personal contact (telephone conversation or meeting) as well as electronically. The interested parties (Engineers from Government Departments, Sewerage Boards, and Municipalities etc) were provided as a start with the followings:

  • General Information about MEDAWARE PROJECT
  • Power Point Presentation of the Tool
  • Website address of the tool and instruction how to Register and Start Up

The Advantages of this approach were:

  • Wide dissemination of this Software Tool
  • Personal contact with each potential user
  • The user has the opportunity to "Work" with the software tool
  • The user may provide feedback (comments or suggestions) to improve the tool
The only disadvantage of this approach is that due to the short time between the latest version of the software and the end of the project, we haven't had a lot of replies and even if we had received them there would be no more time for the improvement of the software
