Partners - University of Chouaib Doukkali, Faculty of Sciences of El Jadida

The Faculty of Sciences of El Jadida is a higher educational institution of scientific research of the University of CHOUAIB DOUKKALI. It was created under the terms of the Royal Decree N° 2.82.355 of the January 13, 1983 and opened its doors in September of the academic year 1985-86. The creation of this scientific establishment was promoted within the framework of the decentralization of the higher education in Morocco.

Its mission is to provide solid knowledge in the fields of the exact and experimental sciences, on the one hand and to promote scientific research with an aim of supporting the socio-economic and cultural development of the area of the Doukkala on the other hand.

The buildings of the Faculty of Sciences are located on a surface of approximately 4ha in addition to the building of administration.

37 Units of doctoral Formation and Research (8 units concern environmental sciences)

The facilities of the Faculty include:

• 3 amphitheater of 400 places
• 2 amphitheater of 280 places
• 21 rooms of direct work
• 53 classrooms allocated among the departments of Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics and Physics. They are intended for practical work and research.
• A library comprising of a storage room and two large rooms of reading.
• A workshop of thin blade
• A workshop of work of glass
• A workshop of carpentry, hydraulics and electricity
